Independent – Integrative Learning Experience is a three course sequence at Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine that results in a student presenting their own original research proposal, manuscript, or policy white paper.

This project focuses on measuring patients’ shared decision-making experiences during the progression of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and their readiness for the next steps in treatment. Additionally, Anji and HEx Lab Team are developing a measure to quantify patients’ transitional readiness experiences and satisfaction.

This project focuses on serious care experiences and explores the intersectionality between rurality, comorbidities, and socioeconomic status of chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients at Dartmouth Hitchcock. Additionally, Rhea and HEx Lab Team distributed a survey that consisted of consideRATE (a measure of serious illness experience) and demographic questions related to rurality, comorbidities, and socioeconomic status.
